Privacy Policy

Magruder & Company ("we," "us," or "our") operates magruder.co and uses certain third-party integrations, including the LinkedIn API, to support practice operations. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Who We Are

Magruder & Company is a management consulting practice focused on AI governance and organizational preparedness. We are the sole operator of this site and the associated LinkedIn developer application. We do not operate as a platform and do not offer services to third-party end users through our LinkedIn integration.

2. LinkedIn API Use

We use the LinkedIn API exclusively for internal practice operations: publishing and drafting content to the Magruder & Company LinkedIn page and the practitioner's personal profile. Specifically:

• We access only the LinkedIn account of the authorized practitioner (Michael Magruder) and the Magruder & Company company page.
• We do not collect, store, or process LinkedIn data belonging to any third party, follower, or LinkedIn member other than the authorized account holder.
• We do not use the LinkedIn API for advertising, lead generation, audience targeting, or any commercial data processing.
• OAuth tokens are stored securely by Composio (our API integration provider) and are not retained in any other system.

3. Data We Collect

Through this site and our integrations, we may collect:

• Contact form submissions: name, company, email, and optional message submitted via the contact form at magruder.co. Used solely to respond to the inquiry.
• LinkedIn profile data: name, profile picture, and headline of the authorized account holder, retrieved via the LinkedIn API for operational purposes only.
• Site analytics: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring. Not shared with third parties for advertising.

We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

4. How We Use Data

• To respond to contact form inquiries
• To publish and manage content on the Magruder & Company LinkedIn page via authorized API integration
• To monitor and secure the operation of this site

5. Data Storage and Security

Contact form submissions are received via email and not stored in a database. LinkedIn OAuth credentials are stored by Composio, Inc., subject to their security practices and SOC 2 Type II compliance. We do not store LinkedIn access tokens ourselves.

We take reasonable technical precautions to protect data transmitted to and from this site, including HTTPS encryption.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services in connection with our LinkedIn integration and site operations:

• Composio, Inc.: API integration and OAuth token management. Privacy Policy

We do not control how these third parties handle data and recommend reviewing their policies directly.

7. Your Rights

If you have submitted a contact form inquiry and wish to request deletion of your information, or if you have questions about how your data is handled, contact us at:

If you are located in a jurisdiction with applicable privacy rights (including the EU/EEA under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have additional rights including access, correction, and deletion. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be reflected in a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
